We are actual staying in Canyon Lake just North of S.A.. planning on showing the girls the Alamo, the river walk, the zoo, and catch up with a lot of friends (the DW lived there for several years while we were dating).

Still camping, but the mean old polar vortex has made it a bit chilly at night.....hoovering right around freezing.

Today should be the end of that mess 60s 70s by the weekend!

All in all a good first outing of 2014!

Brian

Not even close

It is still snowing here today. There is probably a good 4 to 5 feet of snow still in front of the trailer with about a foot on the roof. Lakes are still frozen over, probably until early May. We are scheduled to go out on the May 15th weekend to a local provincial park. This coincides with the opening fishing weekend for pickerel (walleye). Hopefully we wont need our ice augers and fish huts .
Will this white stuff never end.

Packing.
Been sitting at home for the past 5 weeks with 2 broken fingers trying to figure out what to do. Plans before my mishap were New Orleans then thought maybe not at all with all the medical bills. Then I thought maybe something closer and decided on Gatlinburg. But, as I started packing today I was like "I'm going to Orleans"

My wife is sleeping in our new fifth wheel tonight. Current temp is 42* going down to 31*. Wanted to do it tonight since tomorrow night we are forecast to get 3.5" of snow.

No, I'm not camping and probably won't until the 2nd week of May.

Camper is still in storage. Scheduled to bring it home in 2 weeks.

But, it's a road trip to that big camping place tomorrow to look for some goodies for the Flagstaff!
