When things go right-

Much of our forum posts deal with problems, and there is room for improvement on the part of RV manufacturers. However, here is a quick overview of what is right with RVing. We have been waiting to put our Vibe 6501 to the test since purchase before Christmas. During our 3 day trip we made the following observations:
We spent 3 days at Anastasia State Park, 100 miles from home. The "China bombs" did not explode. The Dometic fridge impressed the heck out of me. After years of coaxing marginal performance out of the Dometic in our PUP, this unit in the 6501 is wonderful. Set to automatic, it switched between AC and gas flawlessly and stayed lit during travel. The fridge stayed in the high
30s and the freezer near 0 F, cold beer AND ice cream. The water heater was good to go after 15 minutes and the water was HOT. As a member of the +50 crowd, I cannot tell you how great it is to toddle to the potty in the middle of the night, and not leave the camper. The bed is good. We cannot wait for our summer trip.
