The mine I am in now. It depends on what part of the mine you are in. There is one spot you go and move 10' on the track and its 10 deg warmer. Average would be 60. But general rule of thumb is. It is warmer underground in the winter. And cooler in the summer. So its always just right. I work in a coal mine we are a slope mine about 1,000 down. And about 2miles in. I love it

Not feeling your pain. Five days out from Nashville which is having worst ice and lowest temp in many decades! 50 - 70 degree weather in LA, will take liquid sunshine any day. Happy Mardi Gras!

Before leaving Florida last week, we drained and blew the water lines knowing we were coming home to sub-freezing temps. Just got our camper under cover before getting 6" of snow, so we're good for now.

Got home from work yesterday afternoon about 2:30. About 3" on the ground and coming down. Shoveled the driveway and bird feeder access and by the time I was done the driveway had about 1/2" on it. Ended up with about 9" of powder to get to work this morning. No worries, the trusty Honda Element knew the way.

No snow here in Florida and we are going camping Saturday. High temp Saturday will be 76 degrees.
