Friends of ours just bought a cabin up in Northern Maine. No Electric, just solar power, propane and a generator. The previous owner had family members with RV's so they added a SH#%^%rR pipe to the septic system. Guess we will have to visit them next summer and bring our own house.

I own a place just like this. I have a cabin on a lake and I put in five RV spots with underground 30 amp electric and water to each of the sites with a central dumping station. All my friends with trailers seem to like it. I like staying in my trailer so much I bring it and leave it there most of the time and let friends without trailers use the cabin. Its a pretty busy place throughout the summer.

X2 Family cottage on the lake with 30 amp/water and 20 amp/water/sewer sites. The TT stays out there half of the summer and the family spends every other weekend/ holidays out there. It's 45 minutes from home and easy with no set up most of the time.
