2014 Windjammer Insurance

We're getting ready to take delivery of our new TT next week. We need to purchase insurance. Any suggestions? We have our homeowner's & auto insurance through State Farm. Should we go through them to get a discounted rate for multi-vehicle discounts? Or should we shop around for less expensive rv insurance? Also, we do not want to pay for anything unncessary. What should be covered and what can we do without? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

First get a quote from your auto insurance agent for full coverage on the travel trailer, with deductibles you can stomach. It will probably be cheaper than any special policy you might purchase.

If your TT is financed you may want to get replacement cost as opposed to ACV.
Many don't recommend that you add your RV to an auto policy for that reason. Once you drive the TT off the lot it will be worth 25 or more % less then you paid for it and should it be totaled the ACV could be a lot less then you owe. Good Luck
