Don't think that's entirely true, I can fill up at any station around me except 1.

I know this is not on topic but curiosity has me here
Is the Kerosine for the Diesel truck?
and what does Kerosine do - stabilize the diesel fuel or am I off in left field here

yes, in a diesel truck, burns just like diesel fuel, wouldn't run a full tank of it but a couple gallons won't hurt anything. I don't think it would lube the fuel componets as good as diesel fuel.

Ran JP 5 in our old M-52 Military Tractors, freak people out driving at nite, a Flame about 2 feet long coming out of the stack..
Wish our Diesle prices was as cheap as the Gas, $3.70's for Gas $ 4 plus for Diesle

It may be the stations credit card processor that requires the lower limit. The station has to pay a fixed charge, usually .25 per swipe, less if its debit and then a percentage of the sale (usually 1.5% - 2.0%). They will have no incentive to have you swipe the card twice to complete your fill-up.
