AAA Membership Discounts for Disney Fort Wilderness

Debating on joining AAA, especially if you can get Disney campground discounts...anyone use their membership for value and non-value season times at the Fort?
If yes, what are the discounts and percentages offered?
We camp at the fort about every year to yer and a half, thinking this discount membership may be worth it.

Your saving are between 10% and 35% depending on the time of year. Plus you get extra savings in the park.

I bought the minimum membership (about $50 a year), for their maps, ability to pay DMV fees in their office, and it includes a monthly moniotoring of your credit bureau reports for changes. I still have three tows to use, but I have Coach Net for the RV. The discounts for other things are a bonus. Well worth the money just for DMV services in California, where a wait without an appointment can be hours. There is never a time in our DMV office that does not have 50-100 patrons waiting.

I haven't purchased AAA but we did sign up for the Disney Rewards credit card through Chase about 3 years ago. In doing so we get discounts all over the parks when using it and rewards with every purchase we make at Disney. It helped fund our vacation the last couple years. We got a $100 Disney gift card when we first signed up and the rewards have helped reduce our expenses there the last two years.

The Fort offers limited AAA discounts. They only allow so many discounts so you may sometimes be told there are none left, but don't give up hope if they tell you that because you can still get them if someone cancels. (This is how we got one two years ago.). I kept calling every few weeks and happened to get lucky!. Sometimes they offer them to just specific type loops (full, preferred and/or premium).

This year I made our reservations in June and they were giving discounts for only the "preferred" sites, so I jumped on it. Also, like QCCowbow mentioned above, we have the Chase Visa card and use it like a debit card, putting everything we charge on it and then paying it off every month. We now have more than $500 in rewards to put towards the balance. It was a win-win for us.
