Red face After Rockwood's 2 years - Can you still get warrantied?

We were very interested in the discussion about the lack of information supplied to buyers re. Rockwood's second year warranty. Our question is: can you further warranty your unit after the two years is up? If so, how. Many thanks for all the informative observations made on this forum. Great job>

There is no manufacturer warranty offered by Forest River after two years that I have ever heard of.

It may be possible to buy a"service agreement" from a third-party that is billed as a warranty. But, these are not extensions of the manufacturer's warranty. They are generally expensive and the coverage can be very limited and might require you to jump through hoops. Its buyer-beware.

I have never of any RV manfacturer offer more than a two year warranty.
Third party extended warranties are famous for being overpriced and not covering common problems.

The 6 year extended warranty we get here covers everything the mfg does. Also if it is not used you get most of the $$ back at the end. When we traded our Edgewater to get the V-Lite we got all our $$ back except 200.00. Common sense should dictate just what a person puts through warranty. For us anything under 500 bux is not worth the trouble to get warranty on from the extended plan.

John,
What is this 6 year extended warranty you have? I've not heard of it before.
