Xtra ride was part of our trade-in deal when we got the Beast as a pre owned unit in September 2011. I havn't used it and hopefully won't have to. Other campers that have the coverage and have used the service have said Xtra ride is one of the best aftermarket extended contracts to own.

We purchased the plan (platnium) and have had fantastic service.

As a side note-the repair facility we used stated that they prefered to deal with Extra Ride instead of manufactors warranty due to the faster turn around time w/ processing the claim. Of course. we had to wait until the FR manufactorer warranty expired before the Extra Ride warranty took over.

We got the extra ride platinum on our new 5er, 5 months ago. Of course I haven't used it cause of factory warranty, but I've heard it us one of the better warrantys.
- Also you can negotiate the price. It was offered at by the finance company for $1500, I told them that I was interested but I needed it lower. After it was all said an done I think it was about $1280 for 5 additional years (7 total). Also transferable for a small fee.

I had it on our TT and now on our 2010 36RT 5er. Have used it on both and absolutely no problems. $1200 on slide pump replacement but my cost was $25. Don't leave home without it.
