Attention FROG shoppers!
Wally World has the igloo portable ice maker on clearance. Didn't even know I needed one until I was digging thru the clearance shelves. Mine was 98 bucks plus the 2 yr warranty for another 8. Didn't see any online so visit your local store.

Attention FROG shoppers!
Walk in with a football helmet on and a path will be cleared for you. Found mine in the clearance section if it helps.
There was two more left at the store I went to if somebody needs one shipped.

Don't think you can beat them, they make ice in 7 or 8 minutes. TOWTA loves hers and it stays on the kitchen counter in the 5er and never moves. Don't know how or why we didn't get one years ago.

I won't go into the politics of going to wal-mart, but due to my feeling of its "business practices" I will use ANY body else's services no matter how great of a deal they have there. I don't need anything that bad to shop there.

I agree. Will go out of my way to avoid. Will gladly pay more to avoid.

Aready bought the ice maker last month and just bought a 1.7 cube frig for the basement sodas @ $98. Now it's time to pull out the lawn chairs to sit and sip.

On OC's advice we bought one a few months ago. Ordered it thru eBay. The first one came in damaged; cracked housing.
The seller paid for the return shipping, then gave me a $40.00 refund for my troubles, and shipped the replacement, shipping free. So we got ours for $59.00 plus $12.00 a 3 year extended warranty.
We just set it up on the side bar, fill it with bottled water and plug it in. Works GREAT! If you don't harvest the cubes, they melt, but the water is recycled, so it just sits there and makes cubes 24/7.
Love the cubes! They have a hole/core in them and the ice is "soft", perfect for putting in the blender for smoothies, adult version or underage.
Keep in mind that this icemaker shouldn't be "tilted", as the instructions say that could damage the compressor. Store and run it sitting level.

We bought one at Sam's a few weeks ago. Very simple and good ice made quickly. Found out later that Walmart has them.
