Backup cameras

Hi, we will be using a 3p hitch on a 8327ss rockwood. Our truck does not have a backup camera.

Looking for recommendations for a camera.

Ideally affordable, two cameras (one for truck and one for behind the trailer, maybe iPhone compatable

Backup Camera for 5r

I have been looking for a backup camera for my 5r
so far it's between Tadibrothers at $229.00 or Rearview Safety for $249.00. Anyone have either one of these? I want to stay under $300

Not sure how old your 8327 is, but our TT came with a mounting bracket and power pre-installed for this above the rear window.

You'd just have to clip the camera into the bracket, and set the monitor on your dash and plug it into a 12V power outlet.

Mine is pre-wired for the same. I would like some user feedback on the Furrion system before dropping $400 on one.

I used a swift hitch from etrailer prior to installing a permanent system.
The swift hitch is a magnetic mount camera and portable monitor that worked great. It has night vision so even in dark no problems. I have put the camera on the rear bumper of the trailer to assist backing into a spot but that distance was stretching the limits of the wireless and the signal was sketchy. Worked great on the truck, some people have report problems with bluetooth devices interfering in the truck.

My truck was broken into and the camera system and GPS was stolen. I replaced it with a RV GPS that included a backup camera. Considerably more expensive but covered both items.

Our new Silverback came with a back up camera and monitor. BUT it is just a mirror so everything is backwards. It is a cheap Voyager. Make sure it is not just a mirror.

I ordered the Voyager camera option on our Columbus & love it. I honestly don't know if it is a cheaper version or not; but it works great night & day & rarely looses signal.

Iball, magnet mount and monitor. Camera can sit to hitch, tailgate or trailer bumper. Rate one of the best in Trailer Life magazine couple months back.
