ball park price

I've been looking online at the rockwood signature 8317 & the 8316 and now am ready to go talk to some dealers. After all the haggling is over what can I really expect to pay for units like this. I know web prices have ranged from 30000-35000 but I know they can't cost that much in the end.

From what I understand there is a 36% mark up. Whatever the MSRP is thats 36% more than the dealer paid. I was also told that you should be able to get 29% off of MSRP. When I purchased my surveyor a few weeks ago I actually got 32% off but its a 2010 model and the 2011's were starting to come in.

after some back and forth it seems the best dealers at least the two i can find with this model can do is 22500 with a hitch think that fair for a well equiped rockwood msrps at 34000. they dont seem to want to budge from this price.

If they won't drop lower and you are happy with the deal, go for it!

Hello campfirefun. Have you checked with rvwholesalers.com? If you don't mind a little waiting, and you're willing to go pick up your unit, then this way is a LOT cheaper. I've seen savings of 7,000 to 10,000 on this site, and you don't pay sales tax, either!! Randy

The Gov gets it one way of the other.

In PA you will pay the sales tax when you register the title with the state to get your tags.

Yeah, Virginia is like that, also. I thought all states did it that way.

Is there sales tax in FL?

Maybe that's why.
I dunno.
