Buying a 2011 SunSeeker 2860DS

Hello Everyone,

I am about to pull the trigger on a USED 2011 Sunseeker 2860DS. I have never owned a RV but love the possibility of having one for traveling, tailgating. I just don't know how good of a deal I'm getting here, it certainly seems like a great deal.

The RV is in GREAT SHAPE, almost looks brand new, These people are the second owners and they bought it in May of 2013 for 65K. It had 7300 miles on it when they bought it.

They state they only used it a few times and are about to get foreclosed on the RV. It now has slightly over 10K miles on it and their bank just accepted a offer of 43K for it.

It's fully loaded and honestly looks brand new.

So I guess I'm looking for someone to say, yes you are getting a good deal, or maybe I should rethink.

I paid $63k out the door for a new 2014. WA state seems to be about $10k more then most states.

Never believe anyone selling anything... Lack of use is worse then using for moving parts and seals.

It's really up to you, if you are going to be happy paying for what you are getting.

This yr, we purchased a 2007 Sunseeker 2860 for $29,000. It had 10,000 miles on it. We drove that price up by purchasing an extended warranty. We've camped 62 nights since May. On our first trip, we had a problem w the fuel pump. GS paid $900 and we paid $100. Now the heat doesn't work, but its covered.
