Camper Storage Pricing in Atlanta Area?
We unfortunately live in a neighborhood with HOA rules against having a TT. I called a company today and they quoted me $90 a month. That is way more than I was expecting. Am I just naive, or does that sound expensive to people in my area? (I'm definitely open to suggestions on cheaper places if that's not against forum rules!) We live off of GA 400 around exits 12 and 13.

We are paying $70.00 per month here in the Nashville area. Pay for one year at a time and get two additional months free which comes out to $60.00 per month. Shop around and ask for discounts for 6 and 12 month payment up front.

I currently pay $71 a month for a parking space but the price is going up to $99. The owner still consider the new price a big discount.
Shop around and see how the price end up looking. I found a wide range of prices and environments when I checked.

I called a storage place recently here in the Smyrna, TN area about parking. They had some covered spots, quote was $75.00 a month, considering this after this camping season.

We live 22 miles south of Busch Stadium, home of the World Champion Cardinals, and we pay just $30 a month for storage.

In December I took my pop up to the dealer where I bought it to have something looked at. I was looking at some new TT and I mentioned that I don't have a space that big to park a TT that size. He said, oh, we can store it for a dollar a foot, I thought that wasn't bad, just a little far from home and I am not sure of the security that it would have. Might want to check in on this option. I think that you get what you pay for, security and things like that. I know that the dealer I mentioned would not be open all the time when I would want to move my TT. Just my thoughts...

Ok, thank you. I will check with some dealers then. I think we could make the hours work, so that shouldn't be an issue. Well unless they weren't open on Sundays... But I will check around! I certainly don't want to store it at a "sketchy" place, but I also want to look around for the best price I can find on a good place.
And Oakman, I'm going to ignore that slam against the Braves.

Living near the river and ocean in Jacksonville, storage facilities can charge what they wish. Anything near my house is $100 or more ($150 monthly at one place) for a 30' RV...lucky to live near water, but nothing affordable for storage. After calling every place nearby, I called "Public Storage". They found a slot with locked gate and security cameras for $45 monthly. 20 miles away, but far less than $100+.

Sorry olwalker, I just couldn't resist mentioning the Cardinals. I did resist uploading a photo from game one of the World Series though.
Good Luck on on your search for a reasonably priced storage facility.

I guess I am pretty lucky. The storage I found here in West Texas was 30 dollars a month. They recently had a covered spot with electricity open up for 45 dollars so I snatched it. I can park it right on the l lake with water, sewer, electricity and cable TV for $350 a month and use it as a lake house. I think anything north of about 100 bucks a month would force me to move it to the lake.

We're in the same area and have been looking too this month. We've been quoted anywhere from $60 off GA 20 to $75 closer to Alpha. I'd just keep calling around funny that I now I look at those storage places to see what their parking looks like.

I wish I could find storage for the prices y'all are talking about.
I've been searching all of the places here locally to check on covered storage for our new 5er after we pick it up in a couple of weeks.
The best I could find was for $150/month, and that place has had some break-ins over the past couple of years. Another place was about $185 for their covered storage, but the lot is a huge shell and sand dust bowl, and I'm worried about the sand kicking up during the windy times and sandblasting my rig.
The place we've settled on is $205 after a law enforcement discount and includes electrical, dump and wash stations. It's a secured lot with 24 hour access and security cameras all over the place. Plus, they're so full that I'll be in a fully enclosed garage bay until space opens up outside in the covered area and it's only about 15 mins from my house. I don't like paying this kind of money, but I want our new rig to last 10+ years, and I think that covered storage where my rig is out of the sun and I don't have to worry about mice and other issues is the best way to go. But, it's darn expensive...

Used to store our TT at the dealer where we bought our first TT in 2008 for $55/mo. Last spring, when I went to get it for our first trip, my shore power cord had been cut and stolen. They replaced it but said it was a "one time deal". I now store in in a commercial storage facility (storage buildings etc.) for $1/per foot = $34/mo. fenced gated (need code to get in) and survielance. Didn't know it would be cheaper there until I asked!!!
