Update on my camping world issue.
After the order was cancelled a month and a half later I get billed for it with no products delivered. A bill for $450 for something I cancelled and never got. My wife called to find out what these people are doing, they state they will issue a refund. They did, $6.35 worth of a refund. Gonna have to waste more time on the phone to get this taken care of. This company has probably ripped others off like this but luckily my wife goes over our accounts like a hawk.

My local camping World in Colorado is out of stock on many items and can not get them any time soon by the looks of it...I wonder if they are in financial trouble. They are buying a lot of dealers in the USA.

meck. And the problem is no one that has any authority over these issues know it is going on.

If you have a Facebook account or access to one make a post to their page about what is going on. The FB people helped a LOT to resolve my issue and actually reply back via private message. They were the only ones to get any results with my order and refund. I was firm but polite and got results. Social media can be our ally sometime.

That's quite a difference! Hope they get it taken care of without too much more hassle on your part. Know what you mean, my wife will chase a penny a mile (and if it's her penny, all day and then some).

If paid with a CC just dispute charge as order not fulfilled.

It will get fixed and then we can all go back to getting our camping-crack fix delivered to our doors again as promised. Then all will be well again in the kingdom.
Like zits, this too shall pass.

If it were your money pending a refund, you may have a different outlook! I have been fighting for 3 weeks to receive a $50.85 refund. Could you help me, by sending a check?

1001952119: truly sorry for yours and everyone's problems with Camping World. My opinion was posted almost 2 months ago because some were upset with the computer upgrade. Not sure if your situation is related to that or not.
I did just place an order with them and it arrived earlier than promised. I was pretty pleased. I do hope that you get your refund.
Since this is all just so many electrons anyway, your check's in the (e)-mail.

I placed an order in late May and received it in early June. Computer problem and all, I got my order as promised.
Last Wednesday I got a voicemail and an email.
I apologize for the delay regarding your order. We recently transitioned to a new ordering system which backlogged our emails from May. I see in your order there are some items still in "Picked" status. This could mean they haven't been shipped and are still in warehouse, or you have received them and it hasn't updated. Please let us know if you have received your full order or if we need to resend something out.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and trouble this may have caused you.
Thank you,
Camping World Customer Care
So I responded back.
You replied on 7/30/2015 9:44 PM.
I received the order sometime in early June. Sorry you are having problems with the new system. I know there have been many customers who have voiced "concern" over not getting their orders or even being able to get info. Hopefully, those customers will come back. I, too, have a concern that my inquiry took 8 weeks to get answered.
But again, I hope you get things straightened out because I am a big fan of Camping World.
Yes, it took 2 months for a response. But I believe they are going to get things straightened out and everything will be great in the world for everybody.
I could have been dishonest and said I didn't get the order and turned around and sold them to recoup my money.
But I am an honest person.
I know some companies make bad decisions(for whatever reason). And this was a VERY BAD decision to change the ordering system during the spring of the year.
I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt to see if they can right the ship.
I hope all you folks that had problems with your orders get them resolved.

I ordered my Good Sam membership on line with Camping World and was charged sales tax. When I complained they said everything on line is taxed.
I called Good Sam to complain. They credited back my order from Camping World and sold me a sales tax free membership to Good Sam. they gave me an additional 3 months for free due to the inconvenience. It is a very serious matter for a company to charge sales tax when no sales tax is required but Camping World didn't care and didn't fix the problem.

Best and Amongst the Worst
We have owned our 2401W MBS FRF for 2 weeks today. We have had more problems that if I did not know myself so well, I would call myself a liar!
We have now a good number of interactions with Camping World....
The great: In 100+ degree temp in Louisiana, one of the sales service staff offered to go crawl under my coach in the parking lot to make sure he was selling me the correct part that he believed to fix our failed running and marker lights....he spent 20 minutes under the coach triple checking everything. He is the type of person I would hire for any job.....he has a thank you note in the mail.
The pathetic: We ordered a Winegard in motion satellite antenna. Called today to check the delivery status..... They informed us that because of the dollar amount of our order, it was placed on hold. Why did they not call, send an email....etc...etc.... I was irritated with that until I darned blew a cog when my wife signed in to the credit card we used to see the Camping World had already received payment (not a hold on funds.....received funds).... they now state they are expediting our order after I shared what they did was fraud!
