Customize Floorplan?

Do any of the manufacturers customize floorplans any?

The reason I ask is because I am 6'2"-6'3" and many floorplans have an entertainment wall at the end of a 74" bed (see below for example). Has anyone talked to a manufacturer about customizing a floorplan any?

I'm sure with money, anything is possible. I will say my cherokee grey wolf 28bh had the camper queen, but I swapped in a regular 80" long residential queen. Added a topper too and now we love it more than our sticks and bricks one.
Course i'm only 5'-10"....

I don't see that you could look at any floorplan that doesn't have a full-sized 60 x 80 queen bed.

I have some friends who have a fully customized New Horizons. I don't think FR customizes, but can't be sure of that. Maybe they will do limited work. I've just not heard of one.

The problem is in many with the entertainment wall right there it buts up to the end of thr bed. You couldn't put a longer mattress in there without removing the wall. I'm actually OK with a 74" mattress as long as I can hang my feet off the end.

i don't think any of the FR divisions, except Dynamax, would do any customization.
some of the more expensive brands that aren't under a big corporation, like New Horizons, would probably do it for the right price.

but companies like FR do mass manufacturing with the idea of lowest cost to build.
for them, there's not enough money in customization.

Certain things are customizable, just not sure how far they will go. When I ordered my Grey Wolf 19rr I had them put scare lights on the back and both sides, a larger awning than stock and customized the cable/satellite connections. I would talk to a dealer and see what they say.

in this case, that entertainment wall may also be a structural element. additionally, it's a fair amount of weight, so it's location may not be moveable. you may be able to turn the bed 90 degrees, but you have the outside storage bay that is fixed, so you may give up a walk around to get the legroom you want.

Boutique Mfgrs might be willing to customize your floor plan but you must be prepared for a custom price tag! FR will not customize it for you because each build is based on a "kit" manufacturing technique. These kits are ordered once you finalize your deal with a dealer or when inventory levels dictate.
