Destination trailer

Just wandering for those people with destination trailers and park models.
Dw & I are thinking about downsizing from our home and going into one of these units. We live in Canada we were hoping to stay in the unit from April to Dec. and then moving to warmer climate. Just wandering if anybody does this or how long to stay in your unit, our temps in Dec. can drop down to -35 at times with snow. All thoughts on this would greatly help.
