As far as I know, there are no discounts given for Good Sam at Disney's Fort Wilderness.

It is listed as a Good Sam campground and that is what made me wonder if anyone had actually got the discount.

I have been going there every year since '84 and didn't know that! When we inquired about any discounts, they always said that they didn't give any. Will have to ask them again if they give the GS discount!

I will join Good Sam for a Ft. Wilderness discount! We go every other year, and have 10m 5d until our next trip for Halloween.

We were in 200 last Christmas. I've asked for 100 for our next trip. The meal plan isn't cost effective for us, even being a family of 7. We do a lot of counter service, or restaurants outside of Disney.

It's the RV park inside the Disney resort in Orlando Florida. We've not camped in the RV there, but did reserve one of their cabins one year and it was a pretty good value (for Disney) as we went the very slowest week of the year and they threw in the meal plan for no extra charge.
Unfortunately they don't run deals with the RV park usually - it's often booked a year in advance in the busy months.
It's located pretty close to Magic Kingdom.

What!!! You haven't heard of Fort Wilderness at Disney!
Awesome campground across the lake from Magic Kingdom...y'all got to plan a trip soon to check out.
There's a great forum for Fort Wilderness that's a great review before you go and see pics of the campground.

Sorry to say we've never been to Disney World! Been to Disneyland more times than I can countbut that was years ago. We prefer taking cruises to Hawaii and Alaska.

If you know a disney employee they can get you a really good discount on the rate
I went in 2011 - it is a nice camp ground but to rent a golf cart was expensive in my eyes. They do have busses that go around the property all the time.

with the cast member discount you are looking at about 1500 to 1700 per month for premium sites. Golf carts are going for about 65 per day
