I asked my dealer about the extra year from forest river. They gave me a we don't sell that warranty from forest river its no good. I was stunned and now not sure how to get the extra year warranty or if I should. Of course they tried to sell a extended warranty from a after market company. I will say this the sales guy was great after that the closing gal was just pushy and in a hurry.

Great advice dahagen. We negotiated a seven year warranty way down (we knew their markup and they will normally go to zero on that) and it is zero deductible if our dealer does the work and a very low deductible if he does not. It is basically hitch to bumper except regular maintenance items and damage. With three slides and two ACs these things are loaded with systems that will fail too often these days. We were also told to avoid the FR warranty which we did avoid.

Our six trip with the new rig last week (just got home) and a rear seal tore opening the rear right slide right at the top. When I called them they said bring it on in and we will take care of it for you.

Btw - my wife is finally towing our new larger TT. She did great. The setup pulls so well. A long TT can pull very well setup correctly with a good WDH. There is zero sway. Tracking is excellent. :-)
