To the OP, 350, long bed, factory 5th prep. I have a dually with airbags, so don't think going to a 350 gets you out of the woods on that one.

The 250 is the same as the 350 with the exception of the overload spring on the 350. If you get a camper package on the 250, you get the overload spring, so same as 350. The GVWR stays at 10k though, so you have to decide if that matters to you.
The F350 also has 4" blocks instead of 2" on the F250. There have been a few reported F250s that have come from the factory with 4" but no one can make any sense of it on why because it is not a package option.

You didn't answer the question I asked early. Do you have a Crew Cab, Supercab?? and are you 4x4?

You can see mine in my picture with 4x4 and it weighs 8,261 leaving me 3,239 best case scenario.

I have no clue how your truck can only weigh 7,533lbs with the diesel motor.

I have a 250, just took it to the scales with full tank and hitch like came out with 7100, tag shows payload of 2775 on the door. My pin weight is 1760, my trailer weight fully loaded is 9180, it also has the heavy duty tow package super crew cab 6.5 bed. I have a long way to go before I run out of payload.

I have a Silverado 3500HD SRW diesel long bed and if I had to do it over I would have got a dually. I had a 2500HD diesel. A diesel gets a little better fuel mileage towing and now at least where I live costs less at the pump than gas, about 10 cents a gallon less

I'm pulling our PDEK with an 08 GMC 3500 DRW. Dry your unit will be pushing 13600 lbs. Ours weighed in over 15200lbs ready to camp. You'll definitely want a 1 ton for your PDEK.

You have a Platinum ~~ not sure about that but I was told to add 300# to an XLT for the Lariat pkg....

Some believe a 1 ton is needed to tow a popup too.... LOL!

Most of F250's I see anymore have the 4" blocks. They were all "supposed" to have 4" blocks from 2013 on, but that clearly didn't happen. I agree there is no rhyme or reason to what trucks get them. So I'll change my statement to if you have the 4" blocks and a camper package it is identical to an F350, sans 11.5K GVWR sticker.

We are talking current model year trucks here.......................... Seeing your sig says 6.0, its not the latest generation. You may be great on payload on your truck, but the 2011 and up trucks are heavier.
