Call them and inquire about it. They are REALLY GOOD about offering it if you explain that it was never offered to you by the selling dealer.

Is there sonething I'm missing or that I can do to inquire about this?

I bought a camper but i am not picking up till April 2012 cause i live in Canada and bought in the states, so there is no point in getting in now to sit here for winter. So anybody else here this?? Cause i want to get it but i don't pick the trailer up till April but i just bought it yesterday.

Edit - Here's the PDF so you don't need to go to the link. Please note that I have no idea if the form has changed or if this one will work.
I printed the form Triguy posted on page 3 of this thread, filled it out and mailed it in with a check for $150 --10 MONTHS-- after we bought the trailer. FR signed the form, cashed our check and mailed it back all within two weeks.

I figured the worst thing that can happen is they mail the check back.

almost forgot - thanks Triguy

I am also Canadian. I made the deal and put the deposit down the first week of September, and picked it up about 7 weeks later. I mailed my form in after picking it up.

If anything I would look at how your bill of sale reads. Are you sure it doesn't say you are taking delivery now; and then they are storing it for you for free? Not just for warranty, but for insurance you need to be sure.

How did you make out calling Forest River concerning the extended warranty issue.

We were never offered an extended warranty that either my wife nor I can remember and I always (unless its more expensive to buy the plan than to purchase a repelacement) get the extended warranties.

All I got was a voicemail. Left a message with my number and haven't got a return call.

As others have posted, I don't think they're picky on the 10 day limit. I sent mine in after the 10 days and had no issues. Some have sent them 10 months after and had no issue. By the time you figure out the phone number and get a response you could probably have sent the application in and had it back from them.

I'll be calling them in about 10 minutes from now.

What may save me is that 2 days after taking ownership of the unit I called their roadside assiatance operators (incident would be logged) and when we got home I called the Forest river office to inquire about a warranty work

I called Forest River and explained that we took ownership on Sept 1 2011 and couldn't locate any info in the packet which came from the dealer.
I was put on hold and then lost the call.
Called back and spoke with the same rep.
Treated like Gold.
He said that the unit order was placed and paid for on Aug 8th and that since we did not receive any paperwork until almost a month later it wouldn't have gotten the 10 day return anyway.
Completed over the phone with Visa card...
Painless.
