10 days after delivery - I have seen a few post that they have bought it past the 10 days but I am not sure if they were given the warranty or not

you have to have the sheet to send in with the money - I would personally wait till you take delivery just in case there isnt something right with the trailer and you do not take delivery - you wont be out $150

Or for me- 3 days before delivery my dealer found a hole in the black tank. I went up to see the trailer; it got snagged coming off the delivery truck.

It took almost a month between the delay in getting the part; and when I could pick it up. Had I paid early I would have lost a month of warranty.

When I called, I mentioned the 10 day wording and the lady basically implied that the 10 days was still printed on the paperwork and would take it even longer within the first year.

With that said, I think the 10 days would be after paperwork was signed. The VIN has to be in FR dbase for them to look it up. The dealer usually provides FR with that information.

When all else fails, call them with your VIN and ask.

Your dealer will put the pick-up date on your paperwork.

The easiest thing to do is to call the FR# on the warranty card that you get, and just put it on your credit card; I did this and did not have to mail the card back, they will send something in the mail.

I brought my TT last fall and I just added it on recently after finding out about the second year warranty here.

Update:
My paperwork was sitting on my desk when I arrived home today from camping at the beach. I am so glad that someone here mentioned about the Salem and being able to add it on otherwise I would had been without this peace of mind.

I would assume "delivery," since we technically "purchased" ours march 9th and didn't receive it until May 22nd.

This was very helpful information as I am purchasing a FR pop up as soon as the shipment comes and was wondering if I wanted an extended warranty. For $150 I'll purchase the company one!
