The extra warranty that they offer now does not cover most of what you just listed.

Let's see, one electric stabilizer assembly $550 + labor - covered; faded front cap - prep, repaint and finishing for $868 - covered; roof deck board curled at edge requiring complete new roof for over $1k - covered; Roo 23SS bunk door issue required new front cap, new doors, new heated mattresses and rebuilt cabinetry - covered and performed at factory; delamination of one side requiring slide room removal and replacement of whole side - covered and completed at factory; and, since you are new, just search the forum and you will see what's been covered.

$150 is nothing compared to these. If you were talking about the aftermarket warranties dealers push for $1000 and up, I'd agree. However, $150 can pay for itself with simply having two cabinet doors come apart along with a piece of photolam countertop bubble up. Ask me how I know...

It was tongue to bumper, just like the first year warranty.

The tongue to bumper is no longer offered

jjrrtt, you are a new member and all your first posts are to knock the 2nd year warranty.
you don't provide any info on what FR product you have.
thare are hundreds of members here who have benefited from purchasing the 2nd year warranty.
Have you read the application for the FR 2nd year warranty?

Its a personal choice to purchase the 2nd year warranty. If you don't need it then I can understand why you would think it's a waste of money (for you).

On the other hand like many here I also did invest in the 2nd year coverage. Whether or not I got my full $150 worth out of it I got my peace of mind and that alone was well worth the little cost for me.

Well if you think about it, the 2nd year warranty is comparable to having insurance on your new unit. You pay for the insurance hoping you never have to use it but are grateful its there if/ when you need it. Is that a waste of money? I think not. Its just the cost of doing business. And FYI, With all the mechanical and electrical systems on these units, I also purchased the extended warranty.... just in case. Happy Camp in'.
