Kinda what I thought but thought I would ask. That's good news cause we pick up our new TT Saturday! Definitely will get the extended warranty. Thanks!

My dealer said the additional year was not available on my Wolf Pack. I called FR directly and to my surprise, not only did the person who's name was listed on the FR website answer the call, but she also connected me with someone else who informed me that the second year was definitely available. He emailed me the form and said to return it within 10 days of taking delivery and had the VIN. I sent my form and check in last week!!!

The dealer wants you to buy their VERY EXPENSIVE extended warranty when for a fraction you can get an extra year right from the manufacturer to get the bugs worked out.

Ive been very impressed with our Wildcat Maxx.

I mailed my form in 9 months after purchase and FR accepted it. It's worth a try if you are under one year from date of purchase.

After you do, you might want to ask the dealer why they didn't tell you about it.
Watch their faces turn red and then claim they didn't know about it.

FR claimed the dealer removes paperwork from package & don't tell u about the extended warranty, dealer claimed its up to FR to contact buyer about the extended warranty. I purchased my FR extended warranty 11 mths after I purchased the TT. Send the application & check to FR, you have 50/50 chance, the worst thing that can happen, they'll return your check.

No 10 day window, I sent one in this morning. I downloaded the form from a link somewhere on this forum. Its right above where you sign the form...."Must be sent along with payment, bla bla bla and bla, within 90 days of the purchase of your recreational vehicle"

Extended warranty

Just a suggestion: ADD THE FR WARRANTY TO THE PDI.

I know years ago the dealer we bought our Cedar Creek just included it in the deal no questions asked, I am sure it was in the price but he said it was to good of deal not to do. Not sure they still do it that way but do know they tell you about it.

After reading the back cover blurb about FR's quality assurance pre-delivery inspection facility that gives "immediate daily feedback to production for quality assurance in every unit built" it is easy to get distracted from reading the rest of the cover.

My dealer actually has had me sign a form stating he offered it to me and it was declined on the last two trailers.

I sent my extended warranty form and check in to Forest River. Received the form back with a "PAID" stamp on it and some white out. I guess that means I have the extended warranty now. lol
