Looking at my fr from for the extended warrant. It list everything that's covered . Pretty extensive. I bought it and feel it's well worth the money. On another note my dealer made no attemp to sell me a different warranty.

Had my FR for almost yr. Dealer didn't mention warranty. Nothing from FR. Have called twice had to leave message. No return calls. Do they even currently still have extended warranty?

Are you calling forest river or the factory that made your brand? I had to call palomino instead of forest river before I could get a response.

Blingo - are you calling Rhonda direct at FR (1-574-534-3167)?
Attached is the latest .pdf of the extended warranty application, but maybe call Rhonda to give her a heads-up that you're interested and she'll answer any questions you have.
Keep in mind that they're probably crazy busy right now; but give her a call every day until you hear back. She was super friendly and helpful when I spoke with her, but I did have to nudge her to get the form email'd to me.

Anybody notice that the 2nd year warranty application states that it "does include all exclusions contained in the original warranty?"

...and when I read the my copy of the original warranty it states: "Exclusions from this Warranty: ...the chassis, axles, tires, tubes, batteries & gauges, routine maitnenance, equipment & appliances, or audio and/or video equipment..."

I was considering the warranty extension just this morning...but I just didn't get a warm fuzzy feeling about it....

That's because those items are sourced from vendors and have their own warranties separate from FR.

Sucks, but it is what it is.

If your unit is almost a year old now you are probably wasting your time. I know they will fudge the date a little, like 3mos or so but a year old I do not think so. But give it a shot they may.

Finally received call back. Didn't think I could get it since it has been almost a yr.
He was helpful in explaining. However, I told him I was frustrated because I never heard anything about the warranty. Not from dealer, not from FR, it is not on their website. I found out about it on this forum. Called my dealer, only offered Xtra Ride.
I just wanted an extra year or two, not an expensive long term. Any ideas on another yr. warranty? Thanks to all you guys.

Run as fast as u can, the extended warranty is only a service agreement, it does not cover any appliances, air cond, slides, leveling jacks, it covers road service repair, hotel room if you are straded on the trip, not much more, it's not worth the money they charge. I am hooked on this when I bought my camper.
