yesterday reg gas was $4.29. diesel is $4.98 and the gas attendant was suposidly told by the fuel supplier that fuel will go up by late afternoon today or tommorrow by 30+ cents...

so much for going anywhere and doing anything extra...

been riding the scooter to work as filling the jeep is running us over $80 a week.

Softball Dad,
Got a friend to look at this and he says that unit is badly outdated. Found another unit that sounds promising. Friend is looking at it to see how simple it is to build and at what cost. This will take a while to investigate, so be patient.

From the looks of things, I may as well buy a spot of land somewhere and park my TT on it and call myself camping. If gas continues at current rate, I'll have to walk to where ever I park the TT.

Angry

We decided to park our 5th wheel because of the gas prices. It is parked at the Natchez camp ground for the summer, it is like having a summer cottage. This really irks me that we have to do this. We have worked hard all of our lives and now that we are retired we can't afford gas to travel the country. This is sad for all americans and our leaders can't and are not doing anything about it.

Our Chevy is a flex fuel vehicle....E-85 is 10 cents less a gallon than gasoline and it also gives you less MPG....not much help there !
