Fuel Rebate Credit Card

I have a credit card who's only perk is an automatic 5% rebate on all FUEL purchases. They just take it right off of your bill each month. That works out to a better deal than paying the lower cash price for fuel. So the only thing i use this card for is fuel.

It's from Fort Knox Federal Credit Union. The website is a PIA but for 5%, it's worth it.

I have PenFed, it's also 5% off if the card is swiped at the pump. This card is not free, it's twenty five bucks a year. If you have a loan with them it's 5% or money in the credit union, if not you get 3% off.

Here in New England, we have gas station / convenience store chain called Cumberland Farms. They have a pay by phone app that will get you 10 cents off per gallon if used.

I use Kroger fuel points.

I buy gift cards (either 2x or sometimes 4x fuel points) to places we frequent (Lowes, Home Depot, Subway, Olive Garden, etc.), earning fuel points at the pump (minimum 100 points for 10 cents, up to a max of $1.00 off per gallon). We pay at Kroger with our Cash Rewards credit card, earning 1.5% back.

When I fuel up the truck, getting $1 per gallon off on a 30 gallon fill-up is a REAL savings.

I have a Bank of America card that I get three percent off at the pump and one percent on everything else. The BOA card is saved every month on my account, it adds up, I have a hundred bucks that I can spend now

Gas Card

I have a card from Gas Buddy I just link my checking account to it and swipe it instead of my debt card 5 cents a gallon off. It subtracts it right away, and I don't have to worry about card interest if I don't pay the balance on time. Works for me.

I use Fuel Rewards for Shell gas (usually 5 cents off/gal - sometimes higher) and Plenti for Exxon/Mobil (points add up and I can use them against the purchase).

Do you have to be a member of Sams Club?

PenFed deducts the rebate each month. At 5% and the diesel is three bucks a gallon that's .15 cent a gallon off

Pilot/Flying J RV card is $.05 off fuel at the pump and discounts on other RV purchases. I think $5.00 dump station and 10% off propane. I have the monthly bill taken directly out of my checking so I never have to worry about the bill getting paid.

I didn’t know, I went on Sam’s site and it asked for my member number. I’m not a member as I live to far from a Sam’s club to make it worth while.

We use VISA rewards also; right now Discover has 5% cash back on gas purchases, I believe thru March. You can redeem every month to checking account, credit on account...just play the game for the best results!

BP discounts fuel at the pump on all purchased well. If NP station is not in the area a phone call to them and will deduct from bill. Use them for online purchases, free fraud protection.

BP in my hometown is high, at the interstate where I live is twenty cents higher a gallon than where I buy diesel. Occasionally I can find a good deal at BP but they mostly limit you as to how much diesel you can buy at a discount. I live where NC24 crosses I-40 and there is three stations that sell diesel, Pilot/Flying J $3.15 credit a gallon for diesel, BP $2.89 credit, the Kangaroo $2.87. I can drive eleven miles and buy diesel with a card for $2.65. That’s one reason I carry a 100 gallon tank in my truck

Pilot/Flying J works well and most stations are easy to get an RV into.

And they all charge extra for diesel ONLY if you use a regular charge card instead of cash.

For no reason I can think of.
