We have had electric and just upgraded to gas end of last season. Haven't even got a chance to have it in a campground yet. Gas as far more power. But I think I am going to miss my stealth mode. We prefer the EZ GO just because of looks

Our EZGo has the 13 hp Kawasaki in it. Very quiet, and very powerful. It has a Jakes 6" lift and 12" rims. Very stable with 4 riders. We go everywhere on it at the lake.

Have a EZ-GO retired from a GC in Minnesota. Gas with headlights, taillights, seat belts, rear view mirror, smv triangle and reflectors. Turned up for street use as it is licensed for city of Port Aransas, Texas. Very handy down here in the winter months.

The electrics are great until it comes time to replace the batteries.

New Club Car has the new Subaru EFI gas engine.... very nice.
For electric cars you can buy a code to make it run 19mph.
If buying electric used, make sure batteries are good, otherwise it could get expensive.
Accessories are widely available for all makes.

Battery Maintenance is the key to electric cars. Keep them charged, watered, and clean. Don't hook up electrical accessories straight to the batteries. Use a converter or limiter that draws the current from across the entire battery bank (48v) so that way the computer can calculate energy units used, which determines charge rate.

Buy the gas model=best that you can have.More torque, more power.I use mine everyday and pull a 5 ft trailer loaded with whatever-it's a 1997 with a Kawasaki 8 hp engine=>bullet proof.
