Good Deals on Tools and Storage

First at Home Depot, the last of the Christmas special is a 74 piece screwdriver and tool kit for $15. Now what makes it interesting is it has all the truly weird screwdrivers and bits you need to work on RVs. This is leftover Christmas merchandise and you need to move quick to get one - SKU # is 428-390.

Kathy said she would prefer shelves in "her" bedside wardrobe and I found this $15 solution at Target. SKU # 002 05 1354. It has 5 shelves, but the wardrobe is only tall enough for 3 1/2. The extra length just collapses into the bottom of the cabinet and takes up no space. They also make a shoe holder version that could be used for all kinds of things. Holds 10 pair and is about 5ft tall.

Oh yeah, the reading pillow there is a wonderful addition to the RV bedroom. My daughter gave us 2 of these for Christmas. Matches Rockwood Tan perfectly. Also at Target.

The last two Items you posted, we bought for my daughter for college. They worked out great in her dorm. They are a good idea when there is limlted space and campers are a great place for them as well.

My only comment is that I've found that those ratcheting screwdriver handles
usually crap out right away!!
It's still hard to go wrong for 15 bucks.

I finally got to a HD today, and they still had the tool set.

Now I just gotta break it to the missus that I bought more tools.

Thanks for the heads-up, Radio.

That's a good price on the tools. I have a security screw driver set that my company bought me for work, the set is not as big as the one you show, but the price is a bout $45.00 more then yours. I am glad I didn't pay for it.

I don't have a HD within about 40 miles of me, but I took my trailer to Richmond to have some warranty work done, and saw a HD near a place that I was stopping at, and there they were!!

Check out other HDs in your travels.

Radio, they really don't want people to actually use those tools do they??? That packaging was hard to get into....geeez!!! It upset me when I discovered what looked like blood on some of the tools. And then it really upset me when I realized that it was mine.

Seriously, it looks like a lot of bang for the buck. I figure the channel locks will bite the dust the 1st time I use them, but the other pliers and the screwdrivers seem pretty well made. You acually only get 20 or so tools, as the rest of the 74 items are screwdrive tips, sockets, and things. But it will be a great little tool kit for the camper.

Again, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Yes it was! I tore my packaging into tiny little shards and scattered it all over the place. I think the deal is loss prevention, you're not likely to tear that thing open and pocket something in the store and not get caught at it. I had to resort to a deer skinning knife and a screwdriver to free my tools from their entombment.

If you missed out in the stores, you might try online.
