Good Sam Liar!

After a cooling off period I decided to post about what I was told would be covered (After checking with a supervisor) from (Good Slam Road Slide Ass.) They said my Snowmobile would be covered just like My Motorcycle! After paying on this Policy for (4) years I called when my Battery was dead at =15deg. on a cross country Snowmobile Trip! Nope, will not Pay,not covered! The Supervisior said they would call a Road Service Co. but (I) would have to PAY! Boy what a Deal,I could have done that myself! They always say that (This call will be Monitored) I told the Supervisor to bring the recording up where I bought the Policy, said they didn't have it. I told her to be sure and record this conversation, because it will be the Last! After (37) years with (AAA) I only changed because of the Snowmobile coverage! Don't come back with the BS about (Snowmobile Trailer) only. Good Sam is a Con Company! Youroo!! I did hold back the way I really feel!

I just signed up with GS in Oct. I haven't had to use them but I'm already tired of the constant emails and junk mail in my box trying to sell me insurance and extended warranty.

Unfortunately, unless it is actually written down in a contract, you can NEVER believe a word of what a salesperson says. (Salesperson being ANY person on the other end of a phone, manager or otherwise)
At work we call it AVO, Avoid Verbal Orders, basically means that unless it is in writing, it is worthless.
Sorry for it to let you down when you really needed it, that is always a burn.

Sorry to hear about your situation, I will look at my policy more closely, I have only had to use them once and it was the RV and I was glad to have em.
