"Cool White" has a blue tint. "Bright White" is VERY bright and for most people to much light, they may be OK for a reading light but for normal ceiling fixtures too bright. "Warm White" seems to strike a happy medium. You also have to consider the Lumens (brightness level) output, 150-200 Lumens is a good number to look at.

Great LED Bulb Replacements!!!

So far, nothing compares to the GRV 25-3528's. I have tried 10 different brands. I got mine off eBay via Amazon made by GRV. These are the best warm white replacements I have found, thanks to the Forest River Forums.

I've never had good long term results with various lights I've tried from ebay sellers.

I've been using a variety of LEDs, the most recent purchases from Your First Source for RV LED Lights - RV-LED.com, with much better reliability.

I have over 30 of the 921's in the fixtures of my RV. I like your recommendation, but the rate of return may take an eternity at $10 per lamp. My wife is happy with what I ended up with off Amazon/eBay, and if she is happy, the rest of the family is happy.

It's been my experience too with LED purchases, that the ones sold from GRV on Amazon have been by far the best quality and light colour ... so much so that I have bought enough now to convert our entire trailer.

Of the 35 I put in of the GRV's, I have had only two defective lamps after the first two months. One lamp had one side go out, and the other lamp....two sides went out. I notified the seller and they were immediately sending out replacements at no charge.

One other note....some of the other sellers have the warm whites only to 'change' color to a cooler white after a 1/2hr or so. The 25-3528's from GRV do not have this effect. They stay warm white all the time, no matter how long we have had them on for.

Synopsis- yet again, the best LED WW replacement out there I have found. Hope this helps.

I thought I had one go out as it had dimmed down, but only discovered that it wasn't inserted 100% into the socket ... pushed it back in, it's still working.
Just ordered some others from GRV for the hanging lamps.

I replaced all the lamps in our last RV with 42-3528 bright white LED's and was very happy with them. I've since bought a new RV and have ordered the GRV 24-5050 bright white LED's. I bought two of them to try out to see if they were what I wanted and they were exactly what I wanted.

I'm one of the people that like the bright white (5,000 to 6,000 kelvin) and these stated that they were 6,000 to 7,000K. Once I installed the first two they are bright white. They are about as bright as the incandescent 921's that were in the RV, but since they're white they look better to me. I also had one of the 921's in the range hood that was already blackened like some of the ones in the OP's picture so it's output was greatly diminished.

All the fixtures in our current RV uses 921 bulbs. Our old RV had a ceiling mounted fixture over the dinette that used 1042 bulbs, so I had to buy different bulbs for it.

They are still on sail and ordered. Changed them out on the last trailer as the old sockets were all turning dark brown. My trailer will be happier now. Thanks for the info.
