I just checked gas buddy and diesel is always more expensive across the US at least. It is a fluke if you find it the other way.

Exactly, diesel is about 0.30 more on the average. Add the stink of it to consideration and no thanks.

Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada for ethanol free. Almost every station in the South has at least one pump that is ethanol free. The station 500 yards from my house sells nothing but ethanol free.

Diesel stinks? And gasoline smells like roses?

Some of this stuff is just............humorous.

Diesel was cheaper than gas about 8 months ago. Now it's more. You can refine about 25% fewer gallons of diesel out of a barrel of oil than you can gasoline. But you'd think trucking companies would have as good of a Lobby as "Big Oil"! LOL

We camp with a retired NFL player friend of mine who recently acquired a 42' fifth wheel and a new duelly F350 diesel. He bragged about how you can't smell the fumes any longer just as the first wave hit me from the exhaust. You still need a respirator around one of them IMO.

The site team has removed several political posts that although in jest, are not appropriate for our RV friendly forums. We added a reminder previously here:

Upcoming elections and political posts

Thank You

He better get it into the dealer as something is wrong. More smell comes from my wife's SUV than my truck... al
most zero from both,, just different.

It definitely smells like a diesel truck. He did have some device installed on the engine he said for $1700. I have no idea what that is.

Now you know to leave before he does so you don't have to smell the devil fumes, or you can don a respirator and make it into the 'Things you see in an RV park' thread!!!
