Heated or non-heated winter storage

Yes I am thinking winter storage already lol. We pick up our brand new trailer tomorrow and I was telling my brother about where we were planning to store it for the winter. An indoor heated storage facility about 30 minutes from home. He told me that he was going to store his new pontoon boat in an indoor non-heated storage. He couldn't recall the cost but was going to check in to it for me. I know the heated storage would work out to about $900.00 for the storage season (available Sept to end of May).

What would those who need winter storage do? If winterized anyway, would it matter if the indoor storage was heated?

I have stored my campers outdoors for several years. Properly winterized, cannot imagine nor have I had any problems (even with serious snowstorms that we get sometimes here in the midwest) . I could not imagine paying $900 for a season given that would cover over 3 years of all year storage for me.

heated storage

My fivers have always been keep indoors and unheated, as long as you winterize properly there will be no issues.
