I got 87 E10 unleaded for $1.31 today. I really do like the low gas prices but here in Oklahoma it hurts our economy pretty bad when it's this low. We have a huge budget shortfall now, energy companies are laying people off every day, which in turn hurts school budgets and housing values.
I think we were pretty steady and breaking even at about $2.25-$2.50 a gallon. Now we're in the hurt locker.
My main point is Oklahoma must entice a diversified corporate and commercial sector here instead of all our eggs in the energy basket.
