How is the gas price where you live?

Well the price here in the area we are in (London Ontario) the price is a penny off where it was before oil took a dip ($1.18 a lire, $4.48 a US gallon) that's in Canadian dollars, oil of course is 50% lower than it was but we are now being told, the price of oil does not have much effect on gas prices, I thought that this is rather amusing because while it goes up it has an immediate effect (overnight) usually.

In Nashville area, $2.39- $2.79, diesel $2.79 - $ 2.99. Both are up about 30 cents over the past two weeks. Holiday and start of summer this week. Most schools out for summer last week.

1.17 per liter in Campbell River BC, I think that converts to 3.23 per gallon for Gas. Diesel is about the same.

Here on Vancouver Island, BC, in the Victoria area, it is $123.9 or $4.69 for a US gallon. You are quite right, the prices do not seem to drop as they should when the oil prices fall. (Actually, milk is about the same price, if one has a "need to know".....lol) You all have a wonderful summer - you deserve it!

We are full-timers currently visiting friends in the LA area. California loves to make up their gas prices as they go. Regular in the North Hollywood area is 3.89 to 4.09 a gallon. Our next stop is the San Jose area and GasBuddy says it's about .30 cents cheaper.
Can't wait to get to Oregon and save about .75 cents a gallon.

Well I don't use gas much. But diesel fuel is $2.55 to $2.99 a Gallon. Gas for my lawn tractor is $2.54 to $2.75 a Gallon. I do know when we come to Canada we will get some Canadian currency to pay for things with, not US dollars. I use Gas Buddy all the Time. "DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT"

Here in Calgary, diesel 3.62 a gallon reg. gas 3.60 a gallon price just dropped by a cent over night. The other day they increased it 14 cent a litre = 52 cents a gallon.
The reason they increase price quickly and lower slowly is because we don't mind and won't complain. Governments won't do anything because they of the taxes they take in, the more it goes up the more they make.

149. Actually fuel is taxed per gallon (in US) so what the govt. gets remains the same no matter how much it sells for.
