Question How long before we get our Flagstaff?

We paid our deposit and ordered our new flagstaff 318fkbss on May 18th. We have not received our confirmation from Forest River yet. Our dealer told us:
"Production takes 4 to 5 weeks, then a week to bring it from Ind. to Tx"
and.....
"We have been in contact with the factory, to see where the confirmation is, and when production will start. They tell us they will send the confirmation 7 to 10 days before production.. I promise to stay on it for you !!!!!"
Do it's been almost a month and will take at LEAST 6 more weeks. Is this normal? It's been 4 weeks already and not even started yet.

Sounds frustrating. We discussed ordering but decide to find one at dealer to avoid the wait. We search all over Texas for our model and options. Only had to settle for one option not to our choosing. It was a different style fridge but I figure we could handle it better than the long wait for it to be built.

Hope you get good news soon

I feel for ya TF. I had ordered ours and finally had to cancel and pick one from stock. I lost all but 2 options but am generally very happy.

Best of luck!

We got ours last summer and it was ordered on May 6 and delivered approx July 23. I remember because it was ordered on my birthday and we got it less than a week before we left on vacation and had to get it ready to go in time. It was well worth the wait. Hope you get yours soon.
In rereading your post I think you are under the impression that it takes 4 to 5 weeks to actually build your trailer and it actually is a matter of days not weeks. I don't remember getting anything confirming when it would be ready but it was a week longer than the dealership had anticipated.

You ordered during peak season. Actually at the end of peak season so you have thousands ahead of you. Be patient or else buy something off the lot.

I was actually told it would be 6 to 8 weeks. I made my plans, and then they ran right up against them........ So, I bought a stock one.

We ordered ours at the end of June last year, were told it would take 8 weeks. They actually had it ready in 7.
It was worth the wait to get exactly what we wanted. No lot had one as loaded as ours.

Congrats! We ordered ours March 9th and took delivery on May 22nd, so it was 10 weeks and a few days. (This may have been a busier time, since a ton of people were waiting for delivery by Memorial Day.) Our Rockwood TT had an "online" date (the date it was built) and an "offline" date AND cleared inspection the very next day, so it only takes a day or two to build. The delivery will be the issue. We're only 213 miles from the factory, so ours was delivered the same day it cleared inspection. Your dealer can give you an online date once he receives it from the factory. I'd probably figure a week for delivery.

We ordered ours mid-March, and we still don't have it. Original estimate was 6 weeks, then it was 'surely by the end of May', then it was 'definitely by June 8 since it is just waiting delivery.' We are very frustrated, but there is not much we can do but wait. There are absolutely none like it on the ground anywhere in MO, or even the neighboring states! Much longer and we will cancel and order again about mid-December in order to have it for next camping season.
