I LOVE the dollar store!

I've outfitted almost my whole camper for around $100! We were looking at Walmart at a damp rid moisture absorber and it was $5. Click image for larger version

I found this comparable one at the dollar store! Even if it's not as good, I'm sure five of them would be! Just wanted to share! A lot of their items are quality enough for the 6-10 uses they might get during camping season.

where did you find them in the dollar store? Like by cleaning or somewhere else? We bought them before but last time I looked, I couldn't find them!

I found them around the housewares section. Like with the hangers. I had to go to a bigger dollar tree to get it.

"60 Minutes" ran a session on "Dollar Store" merchandise. Most all of it is Chinese and knock offs that look almost identical to the U.S. equivalent brands. Many hazardous materials found in Chinese goods.

After spending thousands of $$$ on a trailer we're not furnishing it with Chinese...

Happy trails

Awesome is really awesome! DW broke a bottle of red nail polish on light tan carpeting (don't know how). Got a lot of it up with acetone, but final cleanup was with Awesome. Can't even tell where the spot was now!

It's pretty much a lot of "Chinese" along with what ever you have purchased for the kitchen bath ect.

Not to interrupt, however, if you can't find them at your store, you may want to try and go online to the Dollar Store website (Just a suggestion - ours around here is called Dollartree), often you can order many more items online (watch for the amount you have to order though, sometimes it has to be in bulk). Also as an added benefit, you can usually have it shipped to the store and then you can pick up the items for free without shipping fees.

Dollar Store

Bought many items for our first pop-up in 1999 at the Dollar Store and they have found their way into the once new 5er. About three/four times a year, I go to the Dollar Store. Great fun! Many of the items have survived after years of use. Some hand tools not so much, but for light weight use it is ok quality.

You do realize that almost everything, no matter where you buy it is made in China, Vietnam, or Cambodia? iPhones, even coach bags are made in China. I guess I'm not understanding what you're saying. Most US equivalent brands are also made in China. Usually in the same factory...

They are usually in with the cleaning supplies or in with the housewares at Dollar Tree. You can also buy them directly through the web site. https://www.dollartree.com/search/go...e%20eliminator
With any discount store you have to carefully read packages to weed out the knockoffs from the overstock and sample sizing of the real deal. I have also used these moisture packs along side of the pricier ones from the regular stores and find they work just as well, if not better than some of the same brands, and contain the same ingredients.

Great items dollar tree sometimes carries is Reynolds Wrappers (precut foil sheets) that we find invaluable for camping, and the small sized Brillo pads.
