If you had $1000

The snow has finally melted and I am in the mood for camping!! Just curious what accessories you all would spend $1000 if you had the money to blow. I was thinking to start with slide toppers or maybe a Patty'o'Room?

Slide toppers do sound like a good idea - I do not have slide's so I dont need those

replace the Anode in the Hot Water Heater

Re-Fill the Propane tanks

If you do not have a Generator - maybe one of those - am thinking a generator is next on my list cause I can also use it for my welder as well - Dual Purpose for me and a good excuse even though I do not need an excuse cause I only answer to me lol

Maybe a large area mat for the outside of the trailer

How about an update to the TV - maybe a superchips programmer or larger exhaust if you do not already have it since you are running a diesel

Blank Tank flusher if you dont already have one

just figured I would throw those out there

I love to spend other people's money

In descending order of cost:
  • Start a nice solar set-up
  • Blue or red generator
  • L6 batteries
  • Olympian Wave 8
  • Replace all lights with LED

If you spend most of your time in hookups:

Plumbing:
A Better shower wand ($50) and ditch the "home water filter" and replace it with a pressure tank. ($50)

Power:
Autotransformer ($400) - most of the bad (low voltage) power I found was in resorts.

Audio Visual:
Better speakers for the surround sound and new subwoofer ($500)

If you spend most of your time dry camping, a grand won't even get you started.

Propane fire pit (for when there are fire bans)
Good chairs; including ones that have the heat reflectors for the back.
If you are a Canadian camping in May- a good TV to watch the playoffs!
