Insurance increase for your units??

Got my new insurance policy offer for 2018/2019 from National General that covers our fifth wheel and tractor and was pleased that it only increased $15.00 per month from April to April. With all of the damage from hurricanes in the States an the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico I had expected a big jump in premiums. How has everyone else fared this spring??

Ours went up just a bit over a hundred bucks for the yearly premium. Second year with this company so expected a little increase. Going to watch it really close next time for sure.

Mine went way up.

Such is life. I like what I have, and the things it covers.

Insurance rates cannot be validly compared.

I don't want to rub salt into any wounds... but ours actually went down this year. Only by about $50 for the year, but still. This is up in MT.

A little off subject but lesson learned from Irma
Only about half of MH and fifth wheels got paid in our Fla park under comp for flooding during Irma due to insurance clause not covering units stored and
not on use.

Wasn't my insurance bill that shocked me, it was the 25% increase in my property tax on the "stick home" that got to me. Looked at that bill then listened to our state lawmakers on the tv that night tell reporters they needed more money.
Guess what's most likely going to be sold this year.

I won't go live with my Daughter but my mail will 😁😁

Well I know it's the american way but I still don't agree that the healthy people that don't get into accidents still have to foot the bill. Just sayin

It doesn't have to be that way. Just drop your insurance and pay only your loses and let them pay for their own. Just roll the dice...

I have looked around for cheaper rates but I have found that NC Farm Bureau is the cheapest around but like all insurance companies they go up every year. It seems everything goes up but my retirement check. I normally donít look, I just pay the bill.
