No fur babies, but a human baby. 3 months old.

The small lever action Ultra Fab model set fits between my tandem tires and I find it more convenient than the larger BAL screw down model. My cousin uses the larger BAL because the distance between his tandem tires is larger.

I use regular chocks (like on your list) for safety and these "x" chocks to help stabilty.
I've really been considering those but might not make the purchase till I get back from my first trip. All places we are going will be mostly level, but I do have 3 kids so stability might be an issue.

Yes, these probably are an after-first-trip item. Look around at other campers, see if your trailer wiggles back and forth a bit, then decide. That's what I did too.

Another after first trip item may be the little fold down Swiffer sweeper. A broom, mentioned plenty already, works for the hard floors but I quickly moved to the Swiffer's after trip one... and little floor mats from the 99-cent store (not expensive ones) to wipe feet on (both inside and out), especially one bedside before I climb into bed. I also have scrap cloth towels for muddy days, I can just throw them away.

You will have a Wal-Mart close by so your first trip can be easily supplied. I was lucky and found some television co-ax cable priced right at a nearby store. The RV park offered a cable connection. I had electrical adapters, extension cords, but no big length of co-ax.

tents and a second camper to put the kids! LOL

but ironically i actually have a tilt activated led on my toilet!!!

its the same small battery operated units made for coolers (i put a couple in my yeti a year ago so i could see what beer i was grabbbing..lol)...anyway, sometimes i dont want to turn on the big light and wake up sleeping babys ....so the led light is perfect !

as far as stocking the camper, its a never ending thing!....you will grow, adapt, and spend as much on "supplies, fuel, and fees" as you did on the camper in no time...lol.....or i mean :-(

the one thing i will say is be thinking where the lil one will sleep...we used a wicker basket by the bed when she was real little, then went to a pack n play....but those are bulky....we have lots of beds n bunks in our trailer, but cant have her rolling off those....

and if i can put one thing at top of list, is hose repair parts.....nothing is more frustrating than trying to get water going with kids and a wife and you have an issue with a hose.....happened to me 2x....luckily i had parts to cut the ends off and put new ones on.....

Very good advice, Ray. And I need to remember something to wipe down the slideouts and also a small step stool.
