Looking for a grill
We have an 03 Flagstaff fifth wheel and it has the bracket and hose for a grill on the side. Anyone have any suggestions on what to get? Looked at the rvq grill and wondered if there is anything else I should look at.

look thru some of the clasiffieds - for sale posts - have seen a few for sale - just have to make sure they come with the bracket piece that allows you to attach to the bracket on the side of the camper.
I also think Camping World sells one that attaches to the side but I think it was kinda pricey too

The RVQ was pretty much junk in most peoples minds. Seems lots of people like their Weber Q series. Personally I have a 50 dollar Weber and love it. It has served us well for about 7 years now. When it dies, I will probably get another one. Light, compact, cheap and durable. What more can one ask?

Weber Q 100, AWESOME grill. You can get the hose that will allow you to still use the gas quick connect. I liked how well this little grill cooked so much we bought a Q 320 for our home grill.

Hoff,I have a lot of RV (STUFF) I could bring to the (Tadpole Rally) that I have removed from my units! Do you think they would let us (Tadpoles) have a one (1) day site sale? RV related items ONLY. How is your trip going? I hope we have our V-Lite back from the dealer for the (Tadpole Rally)! The slideout is (Cattywampus) in the side opening of the unit! Hey I live at (Dealerships)! Someday I hope to go to a (Campgrounds)!! Youroo!!

Youroo,
We leave today after I get off w___ (I think it was you who told me not to use that four letter word starting with "W") and can't wait to get on the road. Sorry about your slide, hope they get it fixed up right. I'll have to look into the yard sale concept later with the S.P.

I had a RVQ on my popup it was just-ok and very small. I don't think I would pay the premium for it. Right now have a Weber Go-Anywhere ($50) with a LP hose so I can use a spare 20# tank. Works great and is a little bigger. The Weber Q models are really nice if you have the $.

Our TT came with the RVQ and so far we absolutely love it! Works great and big enough for the two of us.

Ours came with a grill called the Sidekick and we really like it. One nice feature is the frame that connects to the side of the camper converts to a stand so you can use it on the ground or on a picnic table. I made an extension hose for the propane so I can cook the smokey stuff away from the camper.

I like the extension idea to keep it from under the awning
am curious of how you made the extension hose - I know camping world sells the quick disconnect (with male an female ends) - where did ya get the hose section and how long is it - 20 feet or ?

I picked up the hose and quick disconnect couplings at Northern. It is a Mr Heater brand. I think it is a 20 footer.

Another vote for the Weber Q100... I removed the regulator, picked up a RV quick connect hose and adapted to the Weber control valve...and now I use it on the trailer quick connect outlet.

Is Northern Tool and Harbor freight the same thing? We have that same grill on our new TT and would love to have the extra hose for taking it away from the camper occasionally.
How did you know which couplings to buy? (the right size?)
Thanks,
Julie

they are two diffrent companies
I went to Harbor Freight and did not see much of a selection of Propane stuff there so am gonna check another store.
I do know camping world sells the quick disconnect couplers so the only thing needed would be the hose.
you could drag the RVQ grill with you for reference to make sure you have the right coupler
