Manuals

Hello, Not for sure this is the right spot for this thread but here it is.

Just bought a new Salem Hemisphere 312QBUD TT, what I got for manuals is just one owner manual that seems to be a default book for all forest river TT & FW. My last TT I got a whole packet of manuals for each appliance and item on the trailer. Haven't asked my dealer yet just thought I see what you all have gotten.

Thanks

Dealer should have provided all the manuals for each appliance as you got for your previous unit.

That's kinda what I thought. I'll have to give him a call Monday and see if he has them.

Thanks

Have you looked in all the drawers or in the oven? Sometimes the manuals are found in hidden places?

Hope you either find them or getting them from the dealer. By the way: herkbriary on this site has a very good selection of them in electronic versions.

Your dealer must have removed the packet and forgot to give it back to you.

Many manuals also can be found in the Files section in the menu bar at the top of the forum. Check it out. I prefer to download all my manuals to my ipad. Of course, that will only work if you have it with you when you need it so I also store the physical copies in the trailer.

Complete "Herkbrary" I keep stored on a thumb drive and a USB external drive, as well as our iPad and Laptop. The critical stuff is also on my iPhone.

All my "Paper" is now digital after I scanned the last few items in.

I'm sure my dealer has them I'll get with him and see. Like the idea of scanning them to a file, may have to do that in my spare time that I hope to get some day here soon!

I am quite sure you will not need to scan anything. Everything is either here already or can be found already done by the manufacturer or one of our members.

Look FIRST. Use the search feature in the green menu bar.
If after searching, you can not locate a particular appliance, post it here.
It will become quickly apparent if you are not actually looking, so do look first.

X2. The collection of manuals and the like is more than any individual can ever get. And it is growing.
And as Lou wrote download and save on a portable device what you may need and you save space and weight compared to printed stuff.
