Won't happen. Propane is easily transported and a generator with all the fuel it would take for a week is heavy, costly, and noisy.

Um they're already doing it - Convection microwaves are standard or an option on virtually every tt/5er FR sells. Induction is either option or standard on Berkies and Coachmen, and we were told at Goshen coming to 5th wheels near you.

And, the way gas prices are falling, propane already costs more that gas in my neck of the woods

As a future Toy Hauler owner - Believe Vengeance is gonna do it as well - why not 5.5KW Gan Genny that sips fuel ...from 2 40 Gal tanks

So sorry I disagreed with you to get a 'laughing at me'' response from you. Meant no disrespect. However there are people who have a less than 35 foot trailer that boondock. So crap to them. They will just have to get a generator and give up some of that space. Maybe the crapper can go. I laugh right back at you.

My Cummins Onan 5500 isn't noisy, and our microwave is a convection.

many of us don't have public campgrounds with electric hookups(like in California), so dry camping is the norm, rather than the exception.
and some of us dislike private(parking lot)campgrounds.

so, things like convection microwaves and induction cooktops are useless.
so are residential style refrigerators.

i'll take propane ovens and fridges over ones that limit you to certain types of campgrounds.

My toy hauler came with a convection microwave standard. Have yet to use the convection part. It will be interesting to so how my 3k gen set handles it.
