new Surveyor - major water leak

We picked up a new, 2014 Surveyor 264, yesterday, for my dad. We spent the first night in it last night and there was a lot of rain. When woke up this morning, my shorts, socks and shoes which were on the floor were all soaked. They had spent the night on the floor along the driver's side wall. It looks like water came in through the slide seal.

I'm concerned that the wall is soaked. I also looked on the roof and found that there were some exposed screws on the trim at the top of the front cap where someone had scraped the lap sealant out of the way for some reason.

I'm pretty worked up about this, obviously. Any suggestions on how to proceed? What to expect?

Thanks for any advice.

No hesitation, straight back to the dealer with it, tell them you will pick it up when it's fixed.

It's at the dealer. I went over the trailer with a fine toothed comb and found several things missed in the PDI. The service manager was pretty embarrassed. We will see if they stand behind their word.

I would say that if the manager was truly embarrassed that means he cares. A good sign in getting things done right
