We had to start taking our TT to softball tourneys this year. That involves parking in a very large parking lot with a few other RVs from our team... boondocking Fri and Sat nites.

Normally we camp in state parks, rv parks with shore power, so I refused to spend $1000 plus for a generator. From another forum I learned about the Champion series of generators carried by Cabela's... $399 later and I am as pleased as can be. 68db, less than 100# and not that much louder than the Blue and Red gensets we camped with last weekend.

Plenty of juice to run everything on the trailer. And it even has an RV 30AMP plug on the side.
I got one of these from Tractor supply for 200 bucks, brand new. Twelve hour run time (it really does it, BTW), and not too noisy (we can't hear it inside). And the same amount of juice as if we are on shore power! We love ours!
