Ok, y'all - this thread is about places to buy RV parts online, *not* about the sales taxes that go with it.

To me there is no one difinitive answer to questions such as this on this forum. Everyone will have an opinion and everyone will be right due to there experiences at a particular time. Others may have had a completely different outcome with the same vendor. Seems to me that all need to do their own shopping on the net and draw their own conclusions while comparing apples to apples. I would hate to recommend a company to someone and them get screwed. Just my opinion.

I go with Amazon and Amazon Prime. If you're a prime member, take advantage of their free movies, too.

I have used Amazon for most purchases. I bought from Tweetys once and had good service. Just now I checked the price of the Progressive Industries 30 amp power management unit I want at MakariosRV website. You guessed it..., cheaper at Amazon.

Thanks for everyones replies. I guess I should have stayed away from the perception of a "loaded" question. I do appreciate the experiences people have had with the assorted online vendors. Some people get upset at "loaded" questions like this and that was not my intent. I was just trying to get an idea of where everyone shopped online for their RV needs...

My .02. There have been a couple times that I needed something ASAP from Camping World. I paid for the expedited shipping but it took a week or 2 several times to receive merchandise. This was due to Camping World taking a week or so to get the product out the door.
I have been using Amazon for cheaper pricing and better shipping. I'm much happier with Amazon.

I'm a big Amazon shopper, and yes I popped for the Amazon Prime Membership and it is well worth it.
As a side note, many times you can find a price on Amazon but also locate an online retailer that will match or beat the price by 10% of the difference such as
Lesson is to shop smart, look at the bottom line after shipping, taxes and handling charges are totaled. Even more important is if you are not familiar with the company do a little research before placing your order. Then use a credit card that offers buyers recourse should something go not as expected.

Nah, no interest in that state. I'm thinking TN, GA, or Fla.
