Congrats. Always feels good to own something free and clear.

We try to add extra to the payments when possible and when a windfall comes in we throw some more on the fire. Every little bit helps.

Good for you. It is a good feeling not to have the payments. We are year # 4 into 12 total. I may start putting extra on the monthly payments as well.

Title is usually held by the lien holder, possibly your loan is an unsecured loan which is honored by a great reputation and credit score. Just depends how the loan is structured.

Dave Ramsey would be proud! We too are getting ours paid off quickly. Hope to have title in hand by end of the year.....then on to the CC's.
