For anyone considering coming up to Canada in the next couple of years (and thanks to the exchange rate it is so cheap right now for US visitors) there is even more reason to be cheerful.
In celebration of 150 years since Confederation, Parks Canada are extending the 12 month validity of the annual park pass to 24 months. So an annual pass purchased in lets say June 2016 will now be valid until June 2018. The cost for an annual pass is Cdn$136.40 (about U$100).
