interesting
have recently used them both
had a claim with Progressive (they did great)
we also have Farmers for the home
ran into the same thing
Farmers does not seem to be as up on trailers
but
think it to be best to keep all policies together with Farmers
their discount for us worked out better than Progressive

although
Progressive is the best for high risk insurance
if one happens to be in that boat

progressive here for over a decade - cars, house and now mh.

had a couple claims on cars - always fast, efficient and easy to work with.

I'd give them 5 stars. (out of 5)

i have progressive in nj for my 2010 motorhome. never had a claim. they just advised me that after this term, since i have had no claims, all deductables will be reduced to 0. sweet.

i check every year and they are still better here than geico, good sam, hartford, and a couple of others.

When I got a quote from Progressive, it seemed liked they knew a bit more about TT insurance then my Farmers agent did which is making me lean towards them. I would love to hear any positives/negatives about Progressive! Thanks!!
I have AAA of Michigan. What I liked about them, is I can drop the collision for winter storage.

I have AAA and we are in Michigan as well. They blew away price quotes from everyone. Got quotes from them all including Good Sam. It could cheaper too because my home and cars are with them too. Good luck and happy camping.

We used to have AAA for our home and autos and after DH accident they raised our rates really, really high so we switched to Farmers. AAA won't just insure the camper without having auto with them too.

Nothing against Progressive if you are full-time but left because they would not let me drop to comp only during off season (storage). Moving to GMAC/Good Sams saved me a bundle over the long run. May reconsider Progressive when we go FT in couple years.
