It is rather expensive in Nevada. My TT is more than my truck- which pulls the TT. 2011 tundra 350 2014 31’ $400. Stupid!

If my registration fees were $400 per year that would up set me and being retired now I would consider moving to TX or Fl.

None personally, just google searches. Actually if it was sales tax I would not care but between ca, nv and az, the yearly registration costs are insane

Here's another perspective on this issue.

Thats the fear. Like I said, its not the tax I want to avoid, its the ridiculous reg fees.
Going to have to look at Texas as a possibility

set up a llc , set up domicile in MT . may not be good for someone with a rv sitting all yr in GA . but for most that actually use their RV for 6 months or more a yr it works out great . It does save on the initial sales tax but you don't have to do it the first yr . many have already had it registered in another state paid their sales tax and now use it just for registration. No different then the millions that set up Florida as a resident state to save on taxes etc or those that full time rv and use Montana or south Dakota or some other TAX friendly state

There is a difference, you have to form a company for the sole purpose of saving sales tax and registration fees. I know people that do it but it still doesn't seem right to me. Just read in the Excapees magazine an article written by a lawyer associated with then recommending not to do it.
